Duty of Care

Duty of Care

Kardale Netball Club is firmly committed to creating and maintaining a safe, positive and inclusive environment for all young people (anyone under 18) to play netball.
It accepts the responsibility to safeguard the welfare of all young people and protect them from poor practice, abuse and bullying. All club, associations and individuals are bound by the policies of England Netball, which relate to safeguarding and protecting the welfare off young people in netball.

At Kardale Netball Club we adhere to the safeguarding policies and good practice guidelines set down by England Netball and have been awarded the Silver CAPS netball clubmark. This is set around a core criteria which ensures that accredited clubs operate to a set of consistent operating standards.

All our coaches are DBS checked and a copy of the England Netball Safeguarding policy can be found here.

Children have the right to be cared for and protected and protecting them is everyone’s responsibility .
